Shipping to the United States
True North Bricks ships to the United States via carrier-calculated shipping rates. The information below explains how duties, taxes, and shipping costs are handled so there are no surprises at checkout.
Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) Pricing
All orders shipped to the United States are fulfilled on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis. This means that any applicable import duties and customs fees are included in the price you see — there is nothing additional to pay upon delivery.
Duty amounts are calculated based on the product type, declared value, and current US import regulations. Because duty rates can change and vary by product, the exact duty component is not shown as a separate line item, but it is factored into your checkout total.
Tax-Inclusive Pricing
Prices displayed to US customers already include applicable taxes based on your location. The tax amount will be reflected in your order summary at checkout so you can see the breakdown before you place your order.
Shipping Carriers
We use the following carriers for US shipments:
- DHL Express — DHL Express Worldwide service. Rates are calculated in real time at checkout based on your delivery address and the weight and dimensions of your order.
- FedEx — FedEx International Connect Plus service. Rates are calculated in real time at checkout based on your delivery address and the weight and dimensions of your order.
The carrier options and rates available to you will appear at checkout once you enter your shipping address.
How Rates Appear at Checkout
Shipping rates are carrier-calculated, meaning the exact cost is determined at checkout based on:
- Your delivery address
- The total weight and dimensions of your order
- The carrier's current published rates
You will see all available shipping options and their costs before you complete your purchase. There is no flat shipping rate — your rate reflects the actual cost for your specific order.
Order Processing
Orders are processed on business days. Processing time is the period between when your order is placed and when it is handed off to the carrier. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

Customs and Border Entry
Because your order ships DDP, True North Bricks handles the customs declaration process on your behalf. You should not be contacted by customs or asked to pay additional fees upon delivery.
