Jump back to 1989 with this classic LEGO Pirates set, Forbidden Island (6270). This set has been carefully cleaned and restored, ensuring it includes almost all parts and Minifigures. Sadly, these pirates have lost most of their treasure over the years though, as only two gold coins remain. Forbidden Island comes with the original instructions and the original internal and external boxes, though all show extensive wear. The internal box also has the original owner's name written in marker. However, the plastic window on the outside box is intact.
This version of the set includes the original Canadian version of the canon that does not fire. The firing mechanism was intentionally replaced with a black plastic locking pin to comply with child safety laws at the time.
